Clove Oil: Reversing the Aging Process?

Clove oil is known as one of the most powerful antioxidants that human beings can consume. Anti-oxidants are measured on a scale known as the Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity (ORAC). The higher the ORAC value the more powerful and effective the antioxidant to the human body.

Let me explain the science behind why we need antioxidants...

As we age our bodies being to oxidize. As this reaction takes place, free radical "sparks" shoot off and cells begin to deteriorate. Free radical damage seems to escalate with age because antioxidant protection declines as we grow older. Free radical scavengers such as superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase show a steady decline along with other antioxidants. This means the older we become, the less efficient the body is in neutralizing free radicals and combating the oxidative damage that gradually weakens and eventually destroys key organs. Oxidative stress to the body has been linked to diseases ranging from cancer to heart disease. Protecting these cells from oxidative damage (rancidity) is crucial for slowing down the damage that occurs with aging.

Clove oil is very affordable and highly effective at fighting free radicals. This is why research indicates that clove oil may just be the secret weapon in reversing the aging process.

Clove oil also decreases the viscosity or thickness of the blood leading to enhanced circulation and immune function. Adequate circulation is vital to good health since it affects the function of every cell and organ, including the brain.
